HA! HA! HALLOWEEN

A Spooky Sketch Comedy Show

What if a humble plumber worshipped Halloween with unholy fervor? What if a man’s loneliness rendered him immune to fear? Can you drink too much milk? For most of the year, such profane inquiries lie buried, but on Wednesdays in October, a ghoulish current awakens them. Enter, if you dare, and behold the macabre madness festering within the minds of Go Comedy! The veil is thin… and the comedy is twisted.

The All-Star Showdown

A highly interactive improvised game show.

With suggestions from the audience, our two teams will battle for your laughs. The Showdown is like "Whose Line is it Anyway," featuring a series of short improv games, challenges, and more.

Bottle of Red: Vintage 2025

A complex bouquet of comedy.

Margaret and Nancy, met at The Second City Detroit and upon realizing they were essentially the same person quickly became besties. For some stooped reason, they never played as a two-person troupe until on fateful night in 2006. Bottle of Red was born, and the duo went to perform regularly at the Planet Ant. They also wrote and performed their sketch show ‘Uncorked”. Since then, they have played in many super fun festivals, including DIF and the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival.

Together, Margaret and Nancy blend their years of improv experience and notes of unmatched humor into a complex bouquet of comedy.

Catch a show!

Go Comedy has been part of the Improv Community for the last 15 years, we just finished our Homecoming event where we had visiting performances from Jaime Moyer (Bobs Burgers, Modern Family, AP Bio and more), Maribeth Monroe (Workaholics, The Good Place, Bob Hearts Abishola and more), Garrett Fuller (Wayne County Lyfe and Salvation Boulevard) as well as performances from members of 16 of our past Launch groups, many improv teams and dozens of talented Improvisers. I want to send a thank you out to everyone that performed, volunteered, worked, visited, watched, raffled, donated, laughed and even just thought about Go during the week.
